Each piece of glass and china portrayed in my photos
has been collected over several years on the shores
of the United States and Canada.
Each is unique in its form and history.
Each has a story to tell.

Although we may never know the personal history,
it is often possible to learn the story behind the design.

For me, walking the beach and collecting treasures
throughout the seasons fills me with an inner peace and
calm I am unable to find elsewhere.
This is the gift I hope to bring to you through my
photography.  

If it is authentic sea glass and china, it has been gradually
smoothed and finished by the churning water and sand over
the tides of time.

When finally discovered on the shore,
it is truly a gift from the sea.
